In celebration of its 10th anniversary, J&Co.
Ltd., led by CEO Yu-ho Jang, has set forth an ambitious global vision that aims to position its premium peptide-based anti-aging skincare brand, Dr.
Pepti, as a frontrunner in the competitive K-beauty landscape. Established in March 2016, J&Co. officially launched the Dr.
Pepti brand alongside its flagship product, the Peptide Volume Essence, which quickly garnered attention, earning Money Today's Hit Product of the Year accolade in its debut year.
Since its inception, Dr.
Pepti has continued to solidify its presence in the functional skincare market, amassing numerous awards, including eight consecutive accolades recognized as a Premium Brand from 2018 onwards and ranking first in the Cosmetic Essence category among preferred Korean brands in 2019.
Its performance has been further underscored by export achievements, marked by the $5 million and $7 million export excellence awards during the 59th and 60th Trade Day events, respectively.
Notably, Dr. Pepti’s recognition by China’s ‘Shoppers’ Choice’ as one of the 'Top Most Valuable Brands' in 2025 showcases its burgeoning global competitiveness.
The brand's global expansion strategy commenced with the establishment of a branch in China in 2019, followed by market entries into Vietnam and Japan. In 2023 alone, Dr.
Pepti strengthened its local presence with placements in physical stores such as LOFT and PLAZA in Japan, as well as appointing local brand ambassadors in Vietnam.
By 2025, the brand was nominated as one of the Top 10 Famous FDI Brands in Vietnam, highlighting the successful implementation of its localization strategy, which has also led to a footprint in 79 Emart stores across South Korea, thus enhancing both domestic and international distribution channels.
From 2026 onwards, J&Co. will actively pursue a strategy to broaden its reach through expert channels focused on hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
A significant milestone was achieved in January 2023, when a strategic agreement with KD-Shop, a subsidiary of Guangdong Pharmaceuticals, was finalized to expand pharmacy distribution nationwide.
This move, along with placements in various specialized channels, including the large-scale pharmacy Medi Kingdom in Yongsan and the wellness hub Wellness House in Gangnam, solidifies Dr.
Pepti’s reputation as a trusted dermatological brand. CEO Yu-ho Jang asserts, “The last ten years were foundational in establishing Dr.
Pepti as a specialized peptide brand, while the next decade is set to propel us into a leading position within the global skincare category.” He emphasized a dual strategy focused on leveraging global platforms like Amazon and TikTok Shop to amplify Dr.
Pepti’s status as a representative K-beauty brand, alongside expanding into new categories targeting health supplements for seniors.
In celebration of its anniversary, J&Co. held a global event in Vietnam on March 21. The 'Dr.
Pepti Night Gala 2026' took place at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hanoi, attracting around 300 local buyers, partners, VIPs, and influencers.
Notably, Bảo Ngọc, the reigning Miss Intercontinental 2022 and Miss World Vietnam 2022, attended, marking a pivotal moment for brand visibility within Vietnam.
During this event, strategies were shared to expand expert channels in Vietnam’s hospitals and pharmacies, complementing offline retail goals aimed at establishing Dr.
Pepti as the leading anti-aging K-beauty brand in the region.
