Suwon City has announced the opening of applications for companies wishing to participate in the "2026 BeautySum Korea," set to take place from November 5 to 7 at the Suwon Convention Center. This initiative, organized by Suwon City and the Suwon Convention Center, aims to bolster the regional beauty industry by attracting a diverse portfolio of companies and institutions.
The event is anticipated to host 100 companies and organizations, operating over 300 booths to showcase a wide array of beauty products and innovations. Positioned under the theme "FROM MATERIALS TO DECISIONS," the exhibition will span the beauty industry's spectrum—from advanced R&D-based innovative materials to promising brands—offering attendees a holistic view of current trends and developments.
By incorporating focused business programs and product exhibitions, BeautySum aims to support companies in expanding their domestic and international market presence. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the latest beauty trends through experiential programs designed to facilitate direct interaction with new brands.
This year's show will accommodate businesses from all sectors of the beauty industry, including raw materials, finished cosmetic products (skincare, makeup), beauty tech, devices, hair and nail care, inner beauty, fragrance, and packaging. Such inclusivity serves to enhance the strategic positioning of the event as a central hub for beauty industry professionals.
The event will feature specialized business programs such as a Research and Development (R&D) conference focused on cosmetic ingredient research and export consulting sessions for overseas buyers. Furthermore, a collaboration has been initiated with Dongfang Migou, a prominent beauty and biotech industry cluster in China, to explore various avenues for partnership, including sourcing discussions and conference participation.
Interactive zones offering personalized color assessments, perfume crafting, skincare, and makeup sessions will engage attendees, while an "AI & Beauty Tech Zone" will showcase innovative services grounded in artificial intelligence and digital technology. This strategic integration of technology reflects a growing industry trend towards AI-driven consumer experiences.

A representative from Suwon City stated, "In recognition of the Year of Suwon, we are committed to attracting both domestic and international visitors, preparing robust content and industry-focused programs to ensure satisfaction for all companies and attendees involved in the event."
