Feelody, a premium family skincare brand managed by JD T&T Co., Ltd. and helmed by CEO Bang Ji-hyun, has positioned itself advantageously at the 2026 Egypt Beauty Africa exhibition, held from April 25 to 27 in Cairo.
This event marks a significant step in the brand’s strategy to penetrate the emerging markets of Africa and the Middle East, which are poised for exponential growth in the K-beauty segment.
Now in its seventh year, the Egypt Beauty Africa Cosmetics Exhibition is recognized as one of the largest cosmetics trade fairs in Egypt and across the African continent, attracting over 300 companies and over 25,000 local buyers.
This B2B-centric event is critical to establishing a foothold in the African beauty industry.
For the first time, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) has facilitated a dedicated Korean pavilion, showcasing K-beauty products to this new market.
During the exhibition, Feelody engaged in in-depth consultations with local buyers and stakeholders from the Middle East and Africa, validating the brand’s competitive edge.
The response to Feelody's functional products, ingredients, and efficacy has been overwhelmingly positive.
Notably, a key partnership was forged with Lakia EG, a prominent Egyptian buyer, culminating in the signing of an export memorandum of understanding (MOU), marking a tangible achievement for the brand.
Feelody is crafted to simplify daily skincare routines for individuals with diverse skin concerns, designed by a specialist and mother of two, ensuring safety for families.
The brand has successfully exported to 14 countries, with its products available in domestic duty-free shops at Incheon International Airport, in over 100 pharmacies, and at Oasis Market.
CEO Bang Ji-hyun stated, "Since launching the brand early in 2024, we have successfully exported to 14 nations, solidifying our status as a global K-beauty player.
This exhibition serves as a strategic gateway into the African market, allowing us to diversify our export landscape and contribute to the rapidly expanding global K-beauty sector.
"
As K-beauty continues to gain traction worldwide, Feelody's proactive approach at the Egypt Beauty Africa exhibition highlights the importance of identifying and seizing opportunities in emerging markets.
The brand's focus on functionality and safety resonates well with evolving consumer demands, positioning it for sustained success in a competitive landscape.
