Daebong LS, led by CEO Park Jin-oh, announced on the 10th that its participation in CPHI Japan 2026 has solidified the foundation for expanding global commercialization, particularly focusing on improved drugs and medical device MD cream.
During the exhibition, Daebong LS engaged in multiple meetings with global pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, selecting 27 key partnerships for follow-up discussions and data exchanges. This proactive networking has evolved beyond mere connections, with several discussions progressing to Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and licensing negotiations, indicating a tangible opportunity for business development.
In the improved drug sector, collaborations concerning epinaconazole co-crystals and L-erdosteine with Japanese and global pharmaceutical firms, as well as Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs), are underway. Notably, some companies have proposed concrete plans for local formulation development and production, demonstrating a strong willingness for cooperation. This positions these potential partners as highly likely candidates for global licensing-out opportunities.
Moreover, discussions about technology transfers and joint development with several firms are also taking shape, evolving from basic technology introductions into frameworks that are conducive for actual development, production, and commercialization, further enhancing revenue potential.
The medical device product 'DB JINO Algi Bio Cell MD cream' showcased the most immediate commercialization results at this exhibition. Inquiries about distribution have emerged from countries including Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Bangladesh, and Thailand, with some companies entering negotiations for price and supply terms following NDA agreements, while conducting verification of differentiation data against competitor products.
With ongoing discussions for distribution and local commercialization with various enterprises, the MD cream is rapidly establishing itself as a deal-centric pipeline poised for immediate business activation.
This exhibition has facilitated a robust structure for follow-up discussions, NDA signings, and commercialization meetings in both the improved drug and MD cream sectors, successfully establishing a tangible deal pipeline. An official from Daebong LS stated, "Based on the secured NDAs and contracts, we plan to accelerate follow-up negotiations and actively promote global licensing-out and distribution expansion. If the cooperation channels established this time lead to additional contracts, we anticipate significant momentum in the global business expansion centered around improved drugs and medical devices."
