Skin1004, a skincare brand under Kraber Corporation, announced on the 6th that it has successfully concluded large-scale offline events in Argentina and Chile aimed at enhancing brand credibility and establishing a robust distribution network in the region. With K-beauty demand surging in South America, Skin1004 is leveraging strategic partnerships with key distributors to bolster its competitive edge in this vibrant market.
On the 27th of last month, the brand hosted a dedicated event in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to celebrate the launch of its new skincare line, 'Centella Techa.' Approximately 130 industry stakeholders, including major local K-beauty distributors such as Skinko, Pigmento, and Farmalife, attended the event. Participants focused their discussions on strategic market responses to the burgeoning K-beauty demand, thus reinforcing partnership synergies.
During the Buenos Aires event, Skin1004 not only announced the new product line but also executed brand pitches targeting non-listed retailers and held award ceremonies for key partners. This B2B networking initiative aims at discovering new distribution channels and building collaborative relationships, essential for long-term market positioning.
Following the Argentina event, Skin1004 hosted another significant offline gathering in Santiago, Chile, on the 29th and 30th of last month, focusing on its 'Lab in Nature' line. This event was co-organized with notable local K-beauty channel Sokobox and drugstore Salcobrand, further intensifying customer engagement through extensive promotions.
Throughout the events, various experiential marketing activities were carried out, including product trials, lucky draws, and photo campaigns to enhance customer interactions. Expert consultation booths were also set up for real-time skin diagnostics and personalized product recommendations, thus enriching the consumer experience.
In addition to in-person engagement, collaboration with local influencers and beauty creators resulted in live-streamed content on social media platforms, amplifying the brand’s online visibility and reinforcing consumer-brand connections.
Gwak In-seung, Chief Business Officer and Head of the Skin1004 brand, remarked, “South America is among the most promising emerging markets for K-beauty and has recently shown rapid growth. We will continue to strengthen local distribution networks through close collaboration with our key partners, ensuring a solid foundation for long-term growth.”
