Dr. G announced on the 10th that it is expanding its global philanthropic activities by donating skincare kits to two local charities in the United States. This initiative will contribute to the well-being of vulnerable populations, including the homeless and healthcare workers, through the provision of 540 ‘Clean & Moisture Trial Kits’ delivered in partnership with HomeAid and PATH, a nonprofit focused on housing support, and Beauty Bus, which provides beauty services.

The donation, scheduled from late April to early May, comprises 270 kits for each organization, demonstrating a commitment to social responsibility amid ongoing challenges faced by these communities. By targeting homeless individuals and families, Dr. G is addressing the dual issues of housing instability and skin health, thus supporting both basic hygiene and self-care practices that are often compromised for these populations.

In addition to assisting the homeless, Dr. G is also supplying skincare products to frontline healthcare professionals who endure skin irritation due to long working hours and the usage of personal protective equipment. This strategic focus on sensitive and moisturizing products reaffirms the brand’s commitment to enhancing the skin's resilience among those in high-stress environments.

The 'Clean & Moisture Trial Kit' includes Dr. G’s hallmark formulations: a mildly acidic cleansing gel, a brightening peeling gel, and a Red Blemish Clear Moisture Cream. These products are designed for effective daily skin care, targeting dryness and sensitivity—issues prevalent in many users, thereby enhancing their daily skin health.

A representative from one of the nonprofit organizations remarked that the support received from Dr. G represented not just physical skincare but also a pivotal point for recovery and renewal for its participants, which suggests a profound impact on overall mental well-being.

This initiative further embodies Dr. G's philosophy of expanding social contributions beyond South Korea, where it has previously engaged in charitable activities supporting burn victims and other marginalized groups. The move illustrates the company's strategic alignment of brand values with tangible community support, enhancing its reputation domestically and abroad.

Jeong Yeon, head of Dr. G's overseas business division, stated, “Dr. G is a brand dedicated to ensuring everyone has healthy skin, providing consumers worldwide with safe and innovative products.” The brand aims to continue prioritizing social value realization through its business activities globally, confirming its commitment to ethical corporate citizenship.
