From May 7 to 9, 2026, the '2026 Beauty Istanbul' tradeshow was successfully held at Tuyap Fair Center in Istanbul, Turkey. This event is rapidly gaining recognition as a pivotal display for the global beauty industry, leveraging strategic access to Middle Eastern and European markets.

In its seventh edition, Beauty Istanbul has cemented its status as a major exhibition. Its increasing scale and rising interest from global buyers indicate a growing market potential, making it a focal point for stakeholders in the beauty industry from various regions.

Organized by the Korean Exhibition Corporation (KOECO), the Korean pavilion showcased innovative products in both the Professional and Cosmetic sectors, enhancing opportunities for networking with local buyers. The consistent demand for K-Beauty products in the Turkish market underscores the intentions of domestic firms to capitalize on this trend, contributing to the pavilion's annual expansion.

Exhibiting a diverse range of categories, including skin care from companies such as HJ Corporations and Golden Toad, and hair care from Suho Global, Korean enterprises displayed their technological advancements and market competitiveness effectively. Notably, some promising companies participated independently to facilitate direct engagements with global buyers, thus creating tangible business opportunities.

During the event, many international buyers visited the Korean pavilion, and participating companies reported overall positive outcomes from discussions held. The event's pre-arranged online business matching platform proved instrumental in optimizing meeting schedules, highlighting its role in fostering effective dialogues.

A representative from one of the participating Korean companies emphasized Turkey's strategic importance as a connector between Europe and the Middle East, identifying the exhibition as a significant opportunity to meet diverse buyers in a single venue. KOECO’s CEO, Jo Wan-soo, remarked on the expanding scale of Beauty Istanbul and confirmed the local market's positive reception of Korean products, emphasizing a strong alignment with regional consumer preferences.

Building on the successes of this year's expo, KOECO plans to continuously expand the Korean pavilion at major global beauty exhibitions, actively supporting domestic brands in their international market ventures. This aligns with a broader industry strategy to leverage trade events as gateways for market entry and cultural exchange in beauty.
