Pharma Research, led by CEO Son Ji-hoon, announced on the 8th that its consolidated revenue for Q1 2026 reached 146.1 billion KRW, with an operating profit of 57.3 billion KRW. These figures represent a 25% and 28% increase, respectively, compared to the same period last year. The company maintained a strong operating profit margin of 39.2%, indicating the sustained competitiveness of its key business segments.

This impressive performance stems from solid domestic demand in the medical device sector, particularly for its flagship product Rejuran, alongside rapid growth in its cosmetics business and expanded international sales. Notably, export revenues climbed to 58.8 billion KRW, marking a 30% increase year-on-year and contributing 40% to the overall sales mix.

In the medical device segment, revenue amounted to 79.5 billion KRW, reflecting a 14.5% year-on-year growth. Domestic sales were particularly strong at 58.4 billion KRW, growing by 20.9%, a vital contributor to overall results. Rejuran’s established position in the medical aesthetic market, reinforced by over a decade of clinical data, has fostered significant trust among medical professionals and consumers alike. The ongoing inflow of international patients has further expanded the skin booster market and bolstered consistent demand across clinics.

Internationally, Pharma Research witnessed significant growth in medical device exports, particularly in Europe, where such exports totaled 21.1 billion KRW. Capitalizing on its brand recognition and procedural experience developed in the domestic market is central to enhancing its global foothold. The company is intensifying its activities in global conferences and networks with healthcare professionals, focusing on key European markets to broaden their reach.

The cosmetics division recorded the highest growth rate among all sectors, with revenues of 42.2 billion KRW in Q1, signifying a substantial 51% increase compared to the previous year. Cosmetics now represent 29% of total sales, with exports soaring to 26.9 billion KRW, a remarkable 55.8% increase. The growth is attributed to heightened brand awareness of Rejuran Cosmetics, the expansion of distribution channels in the US and Asia, recovering demand from foreign visitors in Korea, and the impact of new product launches.

Pharma Research plans to continue leveraging synergies between its medical devices and cosmetics businesses to drive global expansion. The company aims to bolster its brand competitiveness in international markets through expanded regulatory approvals in key countries and strengthened local distribution networks.

A representative from Pharma Research stated, "We are maintaining stable growth both domestically and internationally, thanks to the competitiveness of Rejuran and Rejuran Cosmetics. With robust domestic growth paving the way for global expansion, we anticipate sustained performance growth throughout the year."
