During the anniversary ceremony held on the 12th at its central research center in Pangyo, the firm reflected on its history and shared its 'five strategic pillars' to navigate the rapidly changing global environment.
Chairman Jo Im-rae emphasized that since its establishment in 1999, Cosmeca Korea has grown to become a pivotal force in K-beauty, recognized for its commitment to 'best quality' and 'customer orientation.' He noted that the company is at a 'golden time' to establish global standards directly, enhancing its competitive positioning in the international market.
The five core strategies outlined by Cosmeca Korea include ▲ Harmonizing quality and innovation ▲ Achieving AX (AI transformation) beyond DX (Digital transformation) ▲ Proactively creating customer value ▲ Promoting sustainable ESG management ▲ Building a One Team culture. Notably, the integration of AI for 'intelligent manufacturing innovation' stands out as a key focus. Cosmeca plans to leverage accumulated production and R&D data to transition toward an 'intelligent beauty factory' capable of recommending optimal formulations and predicting defects in advance. This pivot is expected to enhance work quality and maximize production efficiency.
Furthermore, the commitment to 'proactively create customer value' signals a shift towards data and AI-driven analysis of latent customer needs as a new business standard. In tandem, the company aims to bolster its ESG efforts by enhancing eco-friendly packaging and clean beauty solutions, demonstrating corporate social responsibility as a global entity.
In his address, Chairman Jo acknowledged the challenges of change but emphasized that stagnation equates to decline. He stated, “While the past 26 years have proven our resilience, the future is a time to demonstrate Cosmeca Korea's limitless potential.”
Founded in 1999, Cosmeca Korea has successfully established itself in global markets, including China and the United States, based on its unparalleled R&D capabilities and innovative formulations. Notably, it anticipates achieving a consolidated revenue of 640.9 billion KRW and operating profit of 83.5 billion KRW in 2025, reflecting year-on-year growth of 22.2% and 38.4%, respectively, marking the highest performance in its history.
