Global beauty enterprise Able C&C's cosmetic brand MISSHA announced on the 7th that it secured two awards at the Belarus Beauty Award, marking a significant milestone in its brand recognition within the region. The victories in the ‘Base Makeup’ and ‘Anti-Aging Facial Care’ categories reinforce the brand's competitive edge as validated by local consumer voting, showcasing its ability to resonate with the target demographic.

Established as a reputable event in its ninth year, the Belarus Beauty Award reflects high local awareness and credibility, thus validating the market presence of brands recognized at the event. Since 2021, MISSHA has consistently garnered awards, signifying an ongoing commitment to enhancing its brand position in the Belarusian market and the broader CIS region.

Leveraging tailored distribution strategies and product competitiveness, MISSHA is extending its influence throughout the CIS markets, specifically in Russia, Belarus, and Azerbaijan. In Belarus, the brand operates standalone stores in key locations, including the capital, Minsk, thereby solidifying its retail footprint.

In Russia, MISSHA's revenue surged by approximately 143% year-on-year in the first quarter. The sales through the country's leading e-commerce platform, Ozon, saw an impressive growth rate of 159%. Currently, Belarus accounts for around 10% of total sales within the CIS, positioning it as a vital market in the region, complemented by Azerbaijan’s rise as an emerging growth market.

MISSHA is actively enhancing its offline distribution network, with recent additions to major Russian retail channels, including Magnit. The brand is also anticipated to enter Pyaterochka, one of the largest distribution networks in Russia, further broadening its physical presence.

Particularly strong sales are noted in the base makeup and mask product lines. The 'M Perfect Cover BB Cream' has established itself as a core revenue item within the CIS market, while the 'Airy Fit Mask Pack' continues to maintain steady sales. The firm attributes these sales dynamics to CIS consumers' preferences for high-performance base makeup products, supported by well-established brand recognition and consumer trust that translate into increased sales.

According to an Able C&C representative, interest in K-beauty within the CIS continues to expand, along with local demand for MISSHA’s base makeup and skincare offerings. The company plans to further fortify its brand competitiveness in the CIS market through customized products and strategic distribution models tailored to local consumer characteristics.
