Daebong LS, led by CEO Park Jin-oh, announced on the 10th that it has signed six non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) at the 2026 InterBiz Bio Partnering & Investment Forum. This signaling move indicates a proactive approach to accelerate the commercialization of both pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical products.
During the forum, Daebong LS engaged in business development meetings with over 40 companies and organizations, validating the commercialization potential in the areas of improved new drugs, medical devices, and dermacosmetics. The strategic establishment of these NDAs during and after the event is expected to lead to confidential technological reviews and discussions centered on technology transfer, co-development, distribution, and sales strategies.
The focus of Daebong LS at the forum included key products such as L-erdoesten and epinaconazole co-crystals, alongside newly developed formulations like the Bonioprazan fumarate and azilsartan new salts and complex formulations. These offerings reflect the company’s strong pipeline and a strategy of introducing next-generation solutions aimed at market demand.
In the realm of improved new drugs, L-erdoesten and epinaconazole co-crystals have emerged as core pipeline items. L-erdoesten, a single-isomer cough expectorant in development, aims to improve patient compliance over the existing DL-erdoesten, nutritionally aligning with patient needs. Epinaconazole co-crystals present a potential new oral treatment option for dermatomycosis, adhering to market trends shifting towards more flexible dosing.
Leveraging its accumulated preclinical data and patents, Daebong LS is advancing negotiations with domestic pharmaceutical companies for technology transfers and co-development, targeting technology agreements by the end of 2026 for both of its highlighted drug candidates.
The company also unveiled further drug development initiatives, including a Bonioprazan fumarate new crystalline form and azilsartan new salts and composite formulations. The Bonioprazan fumarate aims to enhance solubility and stability, issues critical to the proton pump inhibitor (P-CAB) market. Meanwhile, azilsartan related formulations are tailored for hypertension and cardiovascular treatment, broadening the pipeline for potential technology licenses and development collaborations.
Within the medical device and dermacosmetic segments, Daebong LS showcased its pharmacy-exclusive DB JINO product line. The company plans to strengthen distribution channels, particularly through its DB JINO Multi ATO Cream and the medical device-classified DB JINO Algi Bio Cell MD, while expanding market models incorporating exclusive distribution and co-marketing initiatives.
According to Daebong LS representatives, the continuing negotiations for L-erdoesten and epinaconazole co-crystals set sights on the end of 2026 for technology transfer agreements, while further patent-based initiatives for Bonioprazan and azilsartan are also in the pipeline. The company is committed to expanding the domestic and international market channels for the DB JINO product line, ultimately translating its research and development achievements into tangible business outputs and revenue growth.
