On the 27th, Park Ui-hun, CEO of the bio-beauty brand Arocell (operated by FICC), received the 'K-Beauty Innovation Award' in recognition of his contributions to the globalization and innovation of the K-beauty industry. This accolade was presented during the '1st Korean Culture Day' event hosted by the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies' Korean Wave International College, led by Dean Moon Hyung-nam.

Park has been at the forefront of Arocell's strategy, consistently pushing beyond traditional functional cosmetics to integrate innovative materials based on biomedical science and dermatological research, notably through a 'Reverse Aging' strategy. The development of high-functionality products utilizing ultra-low molecular collagen, peptides, and bioactive ingredients has positioned Arocell as a leader in K-beauty’s evolution, fostering a robust global direct-to-consumer (D2C) channel and solidifying its customer fanbase.

Arocell's focus on authentic communication with consumers underscores its brand philosophy while enhancing its digital scalability in international markets. Continuous innovation grounded in academic and medical research has also contributed to the expansion of the Korean Wave, further enhancing the brand's reputation.

In his acceptance speech, Park articulated a vision for K-beauty that transcends mere cosmetics, asserting, "The essence of K-beauty is not just 'makeup' but technology that makes time more beautiful for people." He expressed a commitment to establishing new standards for Korean bio-beauty in the global marketplace under the philosophy of 'Reverse Your Age.'

Looking ahead, Arocell intends to leverage this award as a launching pad to significantly increase its investment in dermatological research. Furthermore, the brand plans to diversify its global distribution channels to introduce its high-functionality reverse aging solutions to consumers worldwide.
