Korean Skincare Brand Gungsungbichek Expands Presence at Cosmoprof Bologna
The skincare brand Gungsungbichek, focused on sensitive skin for infants and children, participated in the '2026 Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna' trade fair held from March 26 to 28 in Bologna, Italy. This presence marks a significant step in its strategy to expand in the European market.
Returning for the second consecutive year, Gungsungbichek showcased its product lines, centered around baby, kids, and sun care, while engaging with over 200 European and global buyers. With products that comply with European cosmetic certifications (CPNP) and UK standards (SCPN), the brand emphasized its commitment to global quality competitiveness.
In addition to its past expansions into Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic's online retail channels, Gungsungbichek recently launched on major Amazon platforms in the UK, Italy, Germany, France, and Spain, further solidifying its footprint in these key European markets. Engaging with buyers at the fair allowed Gungsungbichek to explore additional distribution opportunities.
The exhibition booth creatively highlighted the brand’s heritage while enhancing the experiential aspect for attendees. Featuring Korean design elements such as traditional white porcelain jars and lotus-shaped lights, the presentation effectively communicated the brand's narrative of royal bathing secrets, garnering strong audience interest.
Moreover, Gungsungbichek implemented a social media event aimed at increasing brand engagement. Attendees were encouraged to participate by taking photos at designated spots and following the official channels, thereby naturally enhancing their interaction with the brand.
A representative from Gungsungbichek stated, "Participating in Cosmoprof Bologna confirmed the European market's interest in our brand and the potential for business expansion." They also affirmed plans to continue leveraging global certifications to enhance product competitiveness and brand differentiation in overseas markets.
