Arocell Reports Explosive Growth in Q1 2026, Solidifying Its Market Leadership
Arocell, the bio-beauty brand under FICC, announced on the 10th that it achieved a staggering 204% sales increase in Q1 2026 compared to the same period last year. This performance not only reaffirms Arocell's positioning as a leader in the emerging bio-beauty market but also highlights the company's successful debut of its 'Super Collagen Bubble Serum Mask,' which has disrupted the collagen mask segment with its novel formulation.
The brand's robust sales performance has been further bolstered by its impressive presence in distribution channels. The 'Super Collagen Mask' has achieved a remarkable feat by selling out 15 times consecutively during home shopping broadcasts, establishing itself as a best-seller. Additionally, the 'Mela TXA Sun Serum' has gained traction as a favorite among professional athletes, further accelerating Arocell's sales momentum. This expansion into high-functionality special care categories signals a strategic diversification beyond traditional mask offerings.
As it aims to capitalize on its Q1 successes, Arocell is set to adopt a more aggressive strategy in Q2 with plans to expand its product lineup. The renewed 'Super Collagen Mask 2.0,' which follows the sale of over 25 million units of its original mask, will officially launch. The introduction of secondary lines, such as the 'Mela TXA Mask,' is designed to diversify the product portfolio, solidifying Arocell's dominance within the mask market while catering to a wider range of consumer preferences.
Arocell is also pursuing a vibrant offline engagement strategy, recently launching its first pop-up store, which will continue operations until the 23rd. This initiative will enhance customer interaction and foster brand loyalty.
On a collaborative front, Arocell has formalized a memorandum of understanding with Nongshim for the development of collagen cosmetics, representing a significant step towards boundary-pushing technological collaboration in the bio-beauty sector. This partnership is expected to serve as a critical driver for Arocell's growth as a market leader.
The company’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in its strong ESG management practices. Arocell has been recognized as an 'ESG Excellent SME' by the Korea Standards Association (KSA) and has engaged in communitybuilding efforts through product donations. These initiatives not only elevate the brand's value but also enhance customer trust.
As Arocell accelerates its global market penetration, it is poised for a significant entry into the Japanese market in the second half of the year, having secured a placement in the LOFT retail chain. This strategic move is anticipated to amplify Arocell's global brand recognition.
Kim Myung-sik, Executive Director of Arocell, emphasized that Q1 2026 was pivotal for the brand, noting, "Our new products have garnered a positive market response, solidifying the foundation for our brand growth." He also affirmed the company's commitment to further expand its presence in Japan and undertake marketing campaigns to enhance both brand substance and outreach.
