The Founders Crosses 717.7 Billion KRW in Annual Revenue for 2025
The Founders announced on the 10th that it has achieved an unprecedented annual revenue of 717.7 billion KRW and an operating profit of 129.5 billion KRW for the year 2025. This marks a significant year-on-year growth of approximately 68%, highlighting the brand's ability to capture market share aggressively through strategic operational enhancements.
The metrics reveal a robust growth trajectory, particularly in the North American market, where the company has expanded its footprint since 2022, achieving a growth rate exceeding three times annually. The performance of the flagship brand, Anua, has been integral to this success story. Notably, Anua's 'Houttuynia Cordata Toner' has secured awards as the top product in the toner/mist category at the 2025 Olive Young Awards for five consecutive years, demonstrating its competitive strength within the market.
Market reports from Euromonitor indicate that Anua has secured third place in both the cleansing and toner categories on Amazon USA, while also achieving top ten status in the skincare set category. Particularly, it ranks first among K-beauty brands in cleansing and skincare sets, underscoring its robust positioning in essential skincare segments.
The brand's visibility in the Japanese market has further strengthened. Anua has topped sales in each quarter during the past year on the leading e-commerce platform Qoo10 Japan during its major shopping event, 'Mega Wari.' The 'Retinol 0.3 Niacin Renewing Serum' also received the grand prize at the 2025 Qoo10 Mega Beauty Awards, alongside other products achieving category leadership, showcasing Anua's strength in live commerce and affirming K-beauty's trendsetting potential.
Such validated success across markets has facilitated a diversification of The Founders' business portfolio. Utilizing accumulated product knowledge and marketing expertise, Anua is now set to penetrate new markets in Europe. The dermo haircare brand, From Labs, is making significant strides by securing first place at the Hwahae Beauty Awards, while the pet lifestyle brand, Project 21, is expanding its lineup, further signifying a successful multi-brand strategy.
At the core of these achievements lies a management strategy that identifies talent as a critical asset for growth. The Founders has been proactive in strengthening organizational capability by hiring talents across all segments, not only in marketing, sales, and product planning but also in supply chain management and finance. Last year alone, the company added over 200 new employees and is currently actively recruiting for more than 160 positions globally.
According to a representative of The Founders, "The year 2025 has validated our structural growth through product competitiveness and preemptive talent investment. We aim to continue establishing a solid groundwork for sustainable growth on the global stage through our focus on securing exceptional talent."
