Green Cos, a leading cosmetics OEM/ODM manufacturer, announced the relocation of its central R&D center on the 10th to the New Blue Cloud Hill in Magok, positioning itself to strengthen its infrastructure for global market penetration and secure future growth drivers.

This strategic move into the Magok beauty and bio cluster aims to enhance networking opportunities with global clients and modernize its research and development capabilities. The choice of location signifies a commitment not only to innovation but also to consolidating its position within a burgeoning industry hub.

The new Seoul office is focused on amplifying sales division capabilities and enhancing the research environment of the central R&D lab. Notably, the central R&D center has established teams across skincare, personal care, color cosmetics, sun care, and fragrance, as well as a strategic research team, laying the groundwork for expanded client responsiveness. As part of this expansion, Green Cos plans to significantly upgrade its advanced analytical devices and formulation development equipment.

In line with its strengthened R&D base, Green Cos is also accelerating its production infrastructure expansion. The company’s third manufacturing facility, currently under construction, is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Following a preparatory phase next year, full-scale operations are set to commence in 2027, enhancing its production capacity and aligning it with the advanced R&D capabilities of its new office.

This expanded production capability, combined with an optimized R&D capacity at the Seoul office, is anticipated to facilitate a 'one-stop total solution' system that can rapidly address client demands from planning through production. This integration is expected to improve both operational efficiency and responsiveness in the dynamic beauty market.

Additionally, the sales division plans to refine its 'one-stop product planning service' by fostering open innovation with key beauty companies and relevant institutions within the Magok cluster. This proactive approach is designed to ensure that market trends are reflected in real-time, enhancing product development and client collaboration.

Overall, Green Cos’ R&D center expansion exemplifies a significant shift towards a more integrated operational model that emphasizes innovation and strategic partnerships, signaling potential growth for the K-beauty industry in international markets.
