Activeon Showcases Clean Beauty Innovations at NYSCC Supplier's Day 2026
Activeon announced on the 21st that its participation in the NYSCC Supplier’s Day 2026, held at the Javits Center in New York from the 19th to the 20th, successfully highlighted the company's clean beauty materials based on naturally derived ingredients.
This exhibition, organized by the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists, represents one of the largest B2B events in the cosmetics raw materials industry, attracting key stakeholders, including R&D professionals and buyers from over 80 countries. Approximately 700 raw materials suppliers and more than 11,000 industry experts attended, indicating the significant interest in sourcing clean alternatives.
The increasing global demand for reducing dependence on petrochemical-based ingredients underscores a pivotal market trend. Amid this context, Activeon’s bio-based, clean beauty antimicrobial materials have emerged as viable alternatives. Notably, these materials are insulated from petrochemical supply chain disruptions, thus reinforcing sustainability in procurement and production processes.
Activeon’s flagship products, Activonol-3 and Activonol-5N, are preservatives derived from natural biomass using microbial fermentation and green reaction processes. Additional product lines, such as the anti-aging Acxosome™ series and A-SoothingUp RB, further showcase the company’s commitment to innovation through plant and microbial biotechnologies.
During the exhibition, Activeon’s booth attracted numerous global buyers from North America, Europe, and Asia, resulting in inquiries for raw material samples and business meetings. This interest reflects a significant shift among global brands toward seeking natural and bio-based alternatives to traditional petrochemical ingredients.
Activeon’s CEO, Jo Yoon-ki, stated that recent disruptions in the supply of petrochemical materials have prompted beauty buyers to lower their dependence on such resources, thereby increasing the scrutiny on natural and bio-based ingredients. This positions Activeon’s focus on environmentally friendly, bio-based solutions in direct response to supply chain crises.
Additionally, the K-Beauty Immersion program provided deep insights into Korean beauty trends and innovations, solidifying Korea’s influence on global market dynamics. Highlighted products aimed at soothing sensitive scalps and preventing hair loss, such as Acxosome™-Heartleaf, were showcased as part of this initiative.
Activeon aims to further establish its credibility as a sustainable partner for beauty brands amidst global supply chain uncertainties. The company plans to expand partnerships with local U.S. beauty brands and strengthen collaborations with top-tier clients such as L'Oréal USA. Starting in 2026, Activeon intends to establish local entities in the U.S. and Europe to create direct sales structures, covering key export regions including the U.S., Europe, and China. With the economic viability and strategic value of natural and bio-based materials gaining traction, Activeon is poised to capitalize on this industry evolution as a leader in the clean beauty materials sector.
