Samyang Group, led by Chairman Kim Yoon, announced on the 18th that it will be recruiting for the 10th cohort of its university student supporter program, ‘Samyang CIZ,’ from May 18 to June 9. This initiative aligns with the company’s strategy to connect with emerging talent in the beauty and consumer goods sectors.

Since its inception in 2017, the program has matured into a vital platform for student engagement, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The Samyang CIZ program allows students to experience a range of Samyang’s business operations and brands, enabling them to produce content that reflects their youthful perspectives. This transformative engagement not only fosters student growth but also broadens the company's outreach and connection with future generations, enhancing brand perception among younger demographics.

Eligible participants include university students currently enrolled or on leave from domestic institutions. The selection process is designed to identify students with a clear understanding of Samyang Group's core businesses and a zeal for creating innovative content to elevate the brand's visibility in the market. This recruitment strategy is instrumental for Samyang as it seeks to tap into fresh ideas and perspectives that resonate with younger consumers.

Interested candidates can apply via the link on Samyang Group's official Instagram profile. Results of the initial document screening will be announced on June 16, followed by interviews on June 19 to select 36 final candidates, with results disclosed on June 23. This structured approach to recruitment ensures a robust selection of supporters who will contribute for three months, from July to September.

Selected supporters will receive a suite of benefits including monthly allowances for individual and team activities, specialized workshops led by current industry professionals, and hands-on experiences in AI-driven content creation. Such educational programs are key not only for skill enhancement but also for fostering a deeper connection between the brand and tomorrow’s industry leaders.

In addition to direct engagement, all participants who complete the program will receive a scholarship of 300,000 KRW, with awards of 2 million KRW and 500,000 KRW for the best performing team and supporter, respectively. This financial incentive serves as both a recognition of their contributions and a mechanism to enhance program appeal among students.

Lee Soo Beom, Head of HRC at Samyang Holdings, stated, “The Samyang CIZ program is designed with the vision of nurturing students’ potential through diverse experiences.” He emphasized that with the program's 10th anniversary, there will be renewed efforts to extend its duration and enhance its structure, ensuring that emerging talent is well-equipped for the future.
