Arocell's CEO Receives K-Beauty Hallyu Innovation Award
On the 27th, Park Ui-hoon, CEO of Arocell, a bio-beauty brand operated by FICC, received the 'K-Beauty Hallyu Innovation Award' for his contributions to the globalization and innovation of the K-beauty industry.
The award was presented during the inaugural 'Korean Culture Day' event hosted by Sookmyung Women's University and acknowledged by the K-Healthcare Society, which highlights Arocell's rising influence within the beauty innovation sector.
Under Park's leadership, Arocell has consistently extended beyond conventional functional cosmetics by integrating innovative materials based on biomedical research with skin science. This includes establishing a 'Reverse Aging' strategy that leverages ultra-low molecular collagen, peptides, and bioactive ingredients to create high-functioning products. The brand's direct-to-consumer (D2C) approach has also fortified a dedicated customer fanbase, positioning Arocell as a new growth model in K-beauty.
Furthermore, Arocell places sincere communication with customers at the core of its brand philosophy, continuously enhancing its digital scalability in the global market. This approach, along with sustained innovation activities rooted in academia and medical research, has contributed significantly to the spread of the Korean Wave.
In his acceptance speech, Park stated, "The essence of K-beauty is not merely makeup, but the technology that makes a person's time more beautiful." He expressed his commitment to establishing a new benchmark for Korean bio-beauty in global markets under the philosophy 'Reverse Your Age.'
Looking ahead, Arocell plans to use this award as a stepping stone to increase its investment in skin science research and diversify its global distribution channels. This strategy aims to present high-functioning reverse aging solutions to consumers worldwide, reinforcing its position as an innovator in the K-beauty landscape.
