PharmaResearch Publishes 2025 Sustainability Management Report
PharmaResearch, a leader in regenerative medicine, announced on the 12th the publication of its '2025 Sustainability Management Report,' which delineates its ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) management strategies and key achievements from the previous year. This report represents a strategic move to enhance communication with various stakeholders, including customers, shareholders, employees, partners, and local communities, thereby increasing transparency regarding its sustainable management efforts.
The report encompasses crucial activities aimed at restructuring its ESG operating system to align with global business expansion while strengthening its quality, ethics, and human resource management capabilities. Notably, six core issues have been identified through a materiality assessment: climate action, safety and health protection for employees, product responsibility and quality enhancement, employee growth and management, corporate governance, and compliance with ethical and legal standards, each coupled with management directions and primary activities.
Specifically, PharmaResearch emphasizes establishing a global-level ESG infrastructure. By integrating international standards, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the company has refined its Human Rights Declaration and Policy, and has introduced new biodiversity and animal welfare policies. Additionally, significant ESG issues are reported to the Board of Directors, thereby strengthening the governance framework necessary for advancing sustainable management initiatives.
In the environmental domain, the company achieved new ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system and implemented a greenhouse gas emissions management framework. By transitioning to high-efficiency equipment at its Gangneung production facility and engaging in energy-saving activities, PharmaResearch has enhanced both production efficiency and environmental performance. A long-term management foundation for achieving carbon neutrality has also been established.
On the social front, PharmaResearch has fortified its safety and health management systems across all operations and has implemented talent development programs to bolster the company’s capability to foster sustainable growth. Furthermore, through a production platform that oversees all processes from R&D to manufacturing and quality control, the company continues to enhance product responsibility and quality competitiveness.
A spokesperson for PharmaResearch noted, “In the global market, product competitiveness, combined with company capabilities in quality management, ethical governance, and supply chain management, have become key evaluation criteria.” The company aims to continually refine its ESG management system in line with global standards, aspiring to establish itself as a trusted global aesthetic enterprise based on its technological competitiveness in the regenerative medicine sector.
