THOME's The Glow Approaches 20 Billion Won in Cumulative Live Commerce Sales
THOME, a private aesthetic brand operated by At Home, announced on the 10th that its flagship beauty device, The Glow, is closing in on 20 billion won in cumulative live commerce sales just one year after its launch. This milestone emphasizes the brand's strategic pivot toward integrating live commerce as a key sales channel.
To enhance its live commerce operations, At Home has established a dedicated team and a specialized studio at its headquarters, overseeing all aspects from planning and shooting to broadcasting and editing in-house. In the first five months of 2026, THOME recorded an average revenue of approximately 400 million won per session, reflecting a 15% increase year-on-year. This upward trend signals the growing importance of live commerce in THOME's overall revenue strategy.
THOME has bolstered its content competitiveness through collaborations with creators. A broadcast in December on Kakao Shopping Live featuring beauty creator Company A marked a significant success, attracting around 190,000 viewers and generating over 1.1 billion won in sales, demonstrating strong consumer engagement. This partnership model indicates how influencer collaboration can drive substantial traffic and conversion in live commerce.
On the 23rd, THOME will conduct a second collaborative broadcast with Company A from 7 PM to 8 PM via Naver Shopping Live. This event coincides with Naver’s largest shopping promotion of the first half of the year, known as ‘Nobda Sale,’ and will feature The Glow Signature at discounts of up to 53%. Such strategic pricing is expected to enhance consumer interest and drive immediate sales volume.
Additionally, THOME is planning interactive customer engagement initiatives during the live event. Buyers and verification customers will be eligible for an array of prizes, including the Minix food waste disposer, Naver gift cards, and The Glow Hyaluronic Acid Boost Ampoule. This tactic supports customer retention and incentivizes repeat purchases, contributing to higher customer lifetime value.
The Glow series encompasses a product range from basic to signature and pro variants, expanding consumer choice. Notably, The Glow Signature employs patented dual-frequency ultrasound technology (3MHz and 10MHz), promoting anti-aging benefits through enhanced elasticity, radiance, and hydration down to the skin's 20 layers. This technology-driven differentiation supports THOME's competitive edge in the crowded beauty device market.
A representative from THOME stated, "Live commerce serves as a crucial touchpoint for effectively communicating product usage and benefits to consumers, allowing direct interaction. Buoyed by the high interest during our last broadcast of The Glow Signature, we have prepared unprecedented benefits for this upcoming event, aiming to attract even more consumers at a reasonable price." This forward-thinking approach underscores THOME's commitment to leveraging live commerce as a platform for consumer engagement and brand loyalty.
