The 2026 InterCHARM Korea opened successfully from July 1 to 3 at COEX, with over 1,200 brands showcasing the elevated status of K-beauty in the global landscape. With the slogan, '360 Degree Beauty Journey: From Personal Care Ingredients to Products,' this year’s event reinforces Korea's position as a global hub for beauty innovation.

As the largest B2B exhibition of its kind in South Korea, InterCHARM Korea is co-hosted by Seoul Messe and Reed K. Fairs. This year marks its 24th iteration and, notably, it has received international exhibition certification from the Union des Foires Internationales (UFI), validating its adherence to strict global standards. The certification from the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy further solidifies the event's credibility, highlighting its competitiveness in the international beauty exhibition market.

Featuring 973 exhibiting companies and 1,729 booths, the exhibition provides a comprehensive platform for showcasing the latest advancements in cosmetics, beauty devices, ingredients, packaging, and OEM/ODM services. National pavilions from the U.S., Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and the UAE facilitate insights into emerging global beauty trends, serving as a fertile ground for business development.

In a strategic move, the exhibition is being held concurrently with in-cosmetics Korea, which focuses on personal care ingredients. This alignment allows for expansive networking opportunities along the entire value chain, from raw materials to finished products, heightening the synergistic effect and driving growth for participants.

This year's event boasts the largest scale yet, inviting over 260 prominent domestic and international buyers for extensive offline business meetings. Key players from the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Southeast Asia are participating, aimed at enhancing export pathways and fostering global partnerships for Korean cosmetic brands, reflecting a strong business model shift towards international collaboration.

To boost global market outreach, the event collaborates with overseas media and influencers, providing promotional support for participating companies. Additionally, the Rising Awards will recognize exemplary companies, highlighting their relevance in a highly competitive landscape.

A range of seminars and conferences will be held throughout the duration of the event. The Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute will present insights on market trends from countries like China, Canada, and Ukraine. Participants will engage in discussions on global beauty trends, brand strategies, and technological advancements, facilitating valuable networking opportunities. Seminars by major platforms like Meta and Amazon will also offer actionable insights into marketing and distribution strategies based on global platforms.

Live broadcasts in partnership with AVING News will enhance the global visibility of exhibiting brands and products, allowing real-time engagement with worldwide audiences, thereby contributing to an increase in brand awareness within international markets. The event is positioned not just as a showcase but as a transformative platform for the future of the beauty industry, merging innovation with strategic networking possibilities.

The event's organizers expressed optimism about the exhibition's potential, stating, 'The 2026 InterCHARM Korea stands as the first total global beauty show encompassing everything from ingredients to finished products, providing an overview of both the present and future of the beauty industry.' The exhibition aims to be a collaborative global platform where buyers, brands, and experts converge to foster new business opportunities.
