Shin Sung Bio Farm Seals Major Distribution Deals in Europe at Korea Expo Paris
On June 18-20, Shin Sung Bio Farm announced that it achieved substantial outcomes during its participation at the 2026 Korea Expo Paris by showcasing its K-Food brand, SAUDEEP collagen hot sauce. This event marked a pivotal moment for the company's penetration into the European market, signaling strong consumer interest in Korean culinary products.
The exposition featured tasting events aimed at local consumers in France and across Europe. SAUDEEP's flavor profile, which blends sweet and spicy elements typical of Korean cuisine, garnered positive feedback. Particularly noteworthy was the sauce's compatibility with popular European dishes such as chicken, pizza, and fries, thereby reinforcing its competitive position as a K-Food offering in the market.
During the event, Shin Sung Bio Farm secured direct contracts with major retailers in France and the UK for the distribution of SAUDEEP products. These contracts, alongside memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with local buyers, set a foundational framework for expanding its distribution network primarily focused on France and the UK. This multi-pronged approach demonstrates the company’s commitment to cultivating relationships with local stakeholders and enhancing its export readiness.
CEO Mira Song stated that the Korea Expo Paris served as a validation of SAUDEEP’s market viability within Europe, emphasizing a future-oriented strategy for product development tailored to local consumer preferences and marketing efforts. The establishment of these direct contracts is a strategic step towards improving responsiveness to evolving consumer trends.
Hong Kyu-nam, Chairman of the Gangneung Export Association, noted the successful export of the collagen hot sauce to Mongolia, highlighting the product's capability to achieve significant market traction. He expressed optimism that the recent agreements with French and UK retailers would serve as a catalyst for other export businesses in Gangneung, as European consumers increasingly show interest in K-Food.
Furthermore, Hong Kyu-nam affirmed that the Gangneung Export Association will continue to support local food, bio, and consumer goods companies in exploring European market opportunities through sustained buyer engagement and network expansion. This strategic support could enhance the potential for local exports to thrive in European markets.
Shin Sung Bio Farm plans to intensify its localization strategy for SAUDEEP in Europe, with France identified as a major foothold for market entry. The company also anticipates participating in the K-Street event in Paris this September, which will facilitate further promotions and discussions with additional buyers to capitalize on the momentum from the Expo.
