Imiin, a specialized cosmetics OEM and ODM company led by CEOs Kim Ju-won and Park Jung-wan, announced on the 3rd that Park Jung-wan received the Ministerial Award from the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups during the '2026 Korean SMEs Conference.'

The award highlights Imiin's significant contributions to the advancement of the cosmetics ODM industry and the enhancement of national industrial competitiveness through export growth. Additionally, team leaders Park Hyun-woo from international sales and Choi Yoon-jung from the production team received commendations from the Small and Medium Business Association.

The 'Korean SMEs Conference,' co-hosted by the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups and the Small and Medium Business Association, stands as the largest event in Korea recognizing outstanding small business leaders and contributors to economic development and industrial innovation. This year's 37th iteration carried the slogan 'Transforming Challenges into Opportunities for Small Businesses.'

Imiin's award underscores its recognition for innovations in hydrogel technology and its competitive strength in the global ODM marketplace. The company has fortified its ODM capabilities from product planning through formulation and production, establishing itself as a total skincare ODM enterprise.

Expanding its product portfolio, Imiin moves beyond hydrogel technology to include formulations in basic skincare and a PCT-based sun care line. Recently, it has collaborated with smart farm specialist PlanTFarm and bio-material company BIOSPLASH to develop functional materials using sustainably sourced ingredients, as well as strategic partnerships with Japan's Asahi Kasei for eco-friendly product developments utilizing biodegradable functional sheet materials.

Imiin's advancements in competitive strengths and technological innovation reflect in its financial performance, marking a robust growth trajectory. In the first quarter of 2026, the company recorded revenues of 40.9 billion KRW, surpassing the 40 billion KRW mark for the first time on a quarterly basis, representing a 22% increase year-over-year. Notably, the hydrogel category saw a remarkable 42% growth compared to the same period last year.

Park Jung-wan emphasized that the recognition serves as a testament to Imiin's ongoing commitment to technological innovation and global market expansion. He stated, "This award acknowledges our persistent efforts, and we aim to enhance the competitiveness of the K-beauty industry through differentiated formulation development and robust global ODM capabilities."
