MISSHA Reports 3,199% Revenue Surge in U.S. TikTok Shop Driven by Strategic Marketing
Global beauty company Able C&C's flagship brand, MISSHA, announced on the 6th that it has achieved an astonishing 3,199% revenue increase in the first quarter of this year from the U.S. TikTok Shop, highlighting its robust growth trajectory in the North American digital commerce market.
This significant performance follows MISSHA's participation in the 'TikTok Shop K-Beauty Collective' held in early June in Dallas, Texas. The company attributes this success to its data-driven marketing capabilities and a content commerce strategy focused on local creators, thereby enhancing its marketing efficiency and competitive edge in the market.
During the event, over 3,000 attendees, including influential TikTok creators and local consumers, visited the MISSHA booth. More than 200 user-generated review contents showcasing MISSHA products were created online, centered around the official hashtag '#kbeautycollective', and the brand's global TikTok account gained over 10,000 followers post-event, indicating increased consumer engagement.
The booth's design emphasized MISSHA’s brand heritage and product strength through an immersive experience, including installations inspired by the brand's unique fermentation technology. In the skincare section, the new 'PDRN·NAD+' line was presented, while the makeup segment featured the popular BB Cream PRO line, which has gained traction in North America.
Building on its success as the number one BB Cream category brand on Amazon U.S., MISSHA is accelerating its North American distribution strategy. Following its entry into Ulta Beauty's online platform earlier this year, it has successfully launched in Costco across the U.S., Canada, and Taiwan, and recently initiated offline presence in Olive Young USA, signaling an aggressive omnichannel strategy.
Hyun-kyung Park, MISSHA's marketing team leader, stated, “The U.S. is a rapidly expanding market for K-beauty consumers, and this event reaffirmed the trend of online fan engagement translating into offline brand experiences and purchases. We will continue to enhance MISSHA's competitive edge in North American digital commerce, leveraging our unique brand heritage and superior product capabilities while expanding our omnichannel distribution network.”
