The Korean Cosmetic Industry Institute announced on the 10th that it will be launching the '2026 Cosmetic Marketing Training' program, set to occur from July to October, with two sessions each month for a total of six sessions. The curriculum has expanded significantly, reflecting the positive feedback from the first half of the year's training sessions, which achieved a high satisfaction rate among participants focused on practical learning.

This upcoming initiative will feature industry practitioners and executives across various categories such as hair, fragrance, lifestyle, skincare, and color cosmetics, sharing validated marketing strategies and brand growth case studies. The Academy's prior sessions included topics that are typically challenging to access, such as functional cosmetics, R&D, short-form content marketing, packaging, and global expansion strategies, further establishing its relevance in the current market.

In response to participant feedback, the training aims to diversify its subject matter and instructor expertise, thereby equipping attendees with a broader range of practical experiences from brand executives. This is strategically significant for local brands aiming to navigate the complexities of consumer preferences and market trends effectively.

The curriculum will include training on trending TikTok-based marketing strategies and practical education for entering global markets, thereby providing actionable insights that can enhance the competitiveness of domestic small- and medium-sized cosmetic enterprises.

The first sessions are scheduled for July 21 and 28. The July 21 session will feature the marketing team leader from W.Dressroom discussing cost-saving advertising strategies, while the July 28 session will include a presentation by the marketing team leader from Narca, focused on essential marketing strategies to position small brands effectively in the marketplace.

Subsequent sessions from August to October will be rolled out progressively, with participation encouraged from industry stakeholders. The Korean Cosmetic Industry Institute emphasizes that the program is designed to provide participants with applicable strategies and insights drawn from real-world experiences, aiming to foster increased engagement and retention among local beauty industry professionals.
