Neopharm and Hyer Corporation Conclude Successful HILO WAVE Symposium

Neopharm, led by CEO Kim Yang-soo, announced on the 13th the successful conclusion of the ‘WAVE: UNFOLDED GRAND SYMPOSIUM,’ co-hosted with Hyer Corporation, under the leadership of CEO Kim In-yong. This event, held on June 27 at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul, was pivotal in sharing clinical insights regarding HILO WAVE® and exploring advancements in aesthetic medical practices.

With over 300 participants from relevant medical fields, including dermatology and plastic surgery, the symposium marked the largest attendance in the brand's history. The sessions were structured to provide a deep dive into the biological mechanisms and clinical usage scenarios of the HILO WAVE DHC® component, making it an essential event for healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their clinical practices.

The symposium comprised three sessions, commencing with an opening address by Neopharm's Kim Yang-soo. The first two sessions focused on detailing the biological mechanisms of the HILO WAVE DHC® ingredient and sharing varied clinical utilization cases across multiple body areas. The concluding session featured a panel discussion, where real clinical experiences were exchanged, outlining product introduction criteria and management best practices.

Neopharm entered a distribution agreement with Hyer Corporation for the domestic rights of HILO WAVE in April last year and is currently the exclusive supplier to hospitals and clinics across Korea. This exclusivity enhances Neopharm's positioning in the competitive landscape of aesthetic medical products, ensuring they provide differentiated solutions rooted in clinical evidence.

The HILO WAVE is a collagen booster developed by Hyer Corporation, utilizing a Dual-HA (hyaluronic acid) formulation. This hybrid compound contains both high-molecular-weight and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, effectively positioning it within the market as an innovative treatment option. It has also been approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as a Class 4 medical device, indicating its potential for tissue repair applications.
