Seonjins Beauty Science Establishes Jakarta Office to Expand Global Reach
Seonjins Beauty Science, a global cosmetics materials and ODM specialist, announced the establishment of its Jakarta office in Indonesia on May 1 of this year.
The company aims to position Indonesia as a strategic hub within the Southeast Asian cosmetics market, which is experiencing rapid growth. By establishing this local office, Seonjins Beauty Science intends to build a more agile sales and technical support system to better serve clients in the region.
Indonesia, with a population of approximately 280 million and a young consumer demographic, is witnessing a steady increase in demand for cosmetics. According to Statista, the Indonesian cosmetics market is projected to grow at an average annual rate of 4.7% from 2025 to 2030. The demand for skincare and color cosmetics is particularly expanding, prompting global cosmetic brands and materials and ODM companies to enter the market actively.
With this new office, Seonjins Beauty Science plans to expand its sales foundation to cater to both local and global beauty brands, intensifying its efforts to penetrate the Southeast Asian market. Currently, the revenue share from the Southeast Asian market is relatively small compared to major markets like Korea, China, Europe, and the United States. However, the company aims to secure new clients and establish long-term growth drivers through localized sales and technical support.
The new office will oversee a sales organization that spans western, central, and eastern Java Island, along with operating local logistics warehouses. This setup will enable the company to provide technical support and customized solutions directly to clients, thereby enhancing responsiveness and bolstering its competitive edge in the local market.
A representative from Seonjins Beauty Science stated that while the current revenue share from Indonesia and Southeast Asia is not significant, the market is rapidly growing. The company intends to strengthen connections with local clients and seize growth opportunities by providing differentiated technical support. Additionally, this office establishment will serve as a foundation for continually expanding their sales base in the Southeast Asian market.
Meanwhile, Seonjins Beauty Science continues to broaden its global ODM business following the launch of its ODM/OEM division, OTCM (OTC Manufacturing Master), and the full operation of its new factory last year. Recently, the company has also signed a joint venture agreement with the Chinese cosmetics ODM company Marshmallow Makeup, further enhancing its global business framework focusing on the Chinese and Southeast Asian markets.
