Amorepacific Launches Global 'Meet Your Beauty Academy' in India

Amorepacific has initiated its first global program, the 'Meet Your Beauty Academy,' in the Delhi NCR region of India. This initiative, operated in collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), is designed to run for four months, engaging 80 youth participants.

The 'Meet Your Beauty Academy' program supports youth in discovering their potential and planning their future careers through beauty education. In India, the curriculum combines K-beauty expertise with an understanding of the local beauty industry, focusing on professional skills needed for the market.

This program is significant in the context of Amorepacific's global corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, aimed at fostering youth independence and growth while facilitating community change.

Participants will learn essential career skills such as content planning, shooting, editing, online communication, and personal portfolio development. They will engage in offline sessions, complete assignments, and receive mentorship from industry experts. The Amorepacific CSR team notes the rapid growth of the Indian beauty industry and the increasing demand for skilled professionals, tailoring the program to help youth develop their beauty and digital skills for diverse fields including retail, brand marketing, and content creation.

Song Ho-jun, head of Amorepacific's CSR team, commented on the vibrant and rapidly growing beauty community in India, expressing his hope that the 'Meet Your Beauty Academy' will serve as a launchpad for youth to discover their potential and build meaningful careers in the beauty industry.

Looking ahead, Amorepacific plans to continue sharing K-beauty expertise through cultural exchanges between Korea and India, supporting local youth empowerment and future planning through various global CSR initiatives like 'Meet Your Beauty.'
