AESTURA Named Korea's Top Dermacosmetic Skincare Brand by Euromonitor
AESTURA, a dermacosmetic brand under Amorepacific, has been recognized as the "No. 1 Dermacosmetic Skincare Brand in South Korea" according to the latest figures from global market intelligence firm Euromonitor International.
Established in 1982 with a pharmaceutical heritage and backed by the research expertise of Amorepacific, AESTURA has positioned itself as a leader in the K-derma segment. The brand launched its first hospital-channel skincare products in 2008 and has steadily expanded customer access, exemplified by the introduction of the Atobarrier365 Cream at Olive Young in 2018, paving the way for the popularization of dermacosmetics.
The Atobarrier365 Cream, AESTURA's flagship product, has consistently driven brand growth as a bestseller. It has become known as a barrier moisturizing care solution for sensitive skin, recording remarkable sales of one unit every five seconds. The product's market competitiveness is further validated by its recognition as the top cream in the Olive Young Awards for two consecutive years.
Building upon its momentum in the domestic market, AESTURA is ramping up its efforts in the global arena. Following its entry into the U.S. market through Sephora last year, the brand is now expanding its distribution to Canada, Australia, China, and key European markets. Specifically, AESTURA is quickly establishing consumer connections in Europe, launching its products in approximately 860 stores across 19 countries through Sephora.
An AESTURA representative stated, "We are honored to be recognized by Euromonitor as a leading dermacosmetic skincare brand in South Korea. We aim to expand our proven sensitive skin solutions to global markets and grow into a world-class dermacosmetic brand."
