2026 Asia Model Festival: FACE of KOREA & BEAUTY FESTA Concludes Successfully

The 2026 Asia Model Festival, featuring "FACE of KOREA & BEAUTY FESTA," concluded on the 24th at the High1 Resort Convention Center in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, after a three-day run. The festival was co-hosted by the Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee, the Korea International Culture Exchange Foundation, and the Korea Makeup Artists Association to uncover the next generation of talents who will lead the advancements in modeling and beauty sectors, while also promoting inter-industry collaboration.

During the opening ceremony, An Mi-ryeo, president of the Korea Makeup Artists Association, delivered an encouraging speech to the participants. She emphasized that stepping onto the stage is not merely about competition but about challenging one's own potential, expressing hope that today's experiences would serve as a valuable stepping stone toward greater ambitions. An also conveyed her aspirations for participants to grow into representative beauty talents of South Korea and to showcase their abilities on the global stage.

The event featured competitions in the 'FACE of KOREA KIDS' and 'FACE of KOREA RISING' categories, where contestants showcased their unique personalities and expressions through walking and posing, making for an intense competition.

Following the competitions, award ceremonies were held for the Kids Winner and Rising Winner, with An Mi-ryeo personally presenting trophies to the winners and extending heartfelt congratulations. Notably, in the Rising category, the Korea Makeup Artists Association awarded the "Korea Makeup Artists Association Award" as a sponsorship prize to participants with exceptional growth potential and stage expression, with An actively participating in the award presentation to encourage the efforts and challenges of the participants.

The opening day concluded with the confirmation of the potential and growth opportunities of the next generation of models. The festival continued with further schedules featuring senior category competitions, Beauty Festa, fashion shows, and award ceremonies, providing a festive atmosphere uniting the modeling and beauty industries.
