Cosmecca Korea Reports Q2 Revenue Growth of 39.8% Year-over-Year
Global cosmetics contract manufacturer Cosmecca Korea has reported a significant increase in revenue, with Q2 figures showing a 39.8% rise compared to the previous year, reaching 226.1 billion KRW. This growth trajectory is supported by the company’s strong K-Derma skincare formulation technology.
For Q2 2026, Cosmecca Korea recorded a consolidated operating profit of 32.1 billion KRW and a net profit of 20.3 billion KRW, demonstrating a marked improvement in profitability alongside revenue growth.
The primary driver of this strong performance is described as the 'snowball effect,' where expansion in new customer accounts, combined with reorder activity and SKU expansions from existing small and medium enterprises, created a virtuous cycle leading to increased repeat orders.
Moreover, Cosmecca Korea’s unique product development capabilities have significantly contributed to the explosive market reception of its K-Derma skincare products globally, resulting in expanded export volumes.
In particular, the Korean division led performance, achieving revenues of 178.8 billion KRW with an operating profit of 24.5 billion KRW in Q2 2026. Skincare category revenue saw a remarkable increase of 94.8% year-over-year, driven by demand responsive to specific skin concerns and efficacy categories.
Cosmecca's U.S. subsidiary, Inglewood Lab, reported Q2 revenue of 51.9 billion KRW and an operating profit of 8.7 billion KRW. Leveraging its OTC (over-the-counter) sun care manufacturing infrastructure, the division expanded collaborations with brands entering the North American market, and enhanced its 'Ready To Go OTC' turnkey development program to secure more K-Beauty clients. The division successfully diversified its US beauty client portfolio with an operating profit margin of 16.8%.
Meanwhile, its Chinese arm, Cosmecca China, recorded revenues of 7.7 billion KRW but faced an operating loss of 1.2 billion KRW. Encouraged by sales expansion among C-Beauty and online client accounts, Q2 revenue grew by 21.3% from the previous quarter, indicating a recovery trend. The company aims to enhance profitability through strengthened sales focuses on sun care products alongside existing cushion and primer products.
There is a noticeable trend in the global skincare market, shifting from mere hydration and soothing products towards performance-driven solutions that address skin concerns. Cosmecca Korea is proactively adapting by leveraging its science-based formulation design and functional ingredient management capabilities, planning to continue offering customized product proposals and expand its pipeline in the latter half of the year.
A representative from Cosmecca Korea emphasized, "As the demand for K-Derma skincare grounded in skin science expands globally, our R&D capabilities and formulation technologies are also garnering increasing attention from global clients. We will continue to strengthen our competitiveness in the global market through technological innovation and category expansion."
