Jangsemul Beauty Expands into Sephora's U.S. Online and Offline Stores
Jangsemul is set to debut in Sephora's official online store (Sephora.com) as well as in 34 key offline locations across the United States on August 21. This launch marks the first time a K-beauty makeup brand will feature a 'Full Gondola' display within Sephora stores, tailored specifically to the unique characteristics of each location. This approach aims to effectively showcase Jangsemul's distinct brand identity and primary product lineup to local consumers.
The product lineup will include the brand's global bestseller, the 'Essential Skin Nuder Cushion', alongside offerings such as 'Essential Water Cream', 'Essential Water Micro Fitting Mist', 'Artist Cushion Blush Blur', 'Lippression Metal Serum Gloss', and 'Prolasting Prep Primer'. These products emphasize differential base and skincare makeup that enhances the skin's natural texture.
Jennifer Cohen, Senior Vice President of Makeup Merchandising and Global Initiatives at Sephora, stated, "Sephora continuously seeks out brands that meet evolving customer needs while providing unique value. We are thrilled to partner with Jangsemul at this pivotal moment in strengthening our K-beauty lineup." She expressed confidence that Jangsemul's high-performance base and skincare products, coupled with a simple yet effective makeup philosophy, will resonate deeply with Sephora's customer base.
Having previously established a successful presence on key distribution channels like Costco.com and Amazon, Jangsemul is now poised to enhance its distribution strategy in the North American market through this Sephora partnership. To celebrate the launch, a major marketing campaign will unfold across digital outdoor billboards in significant urban centers such as New York and Los Angeles.
Earlier in June, Jangsemul hosted a large pop-up store called 'Glass Skin Atelier' in New York's Union Square, themed 'Find Youtiful: Be Original, Be Beautiful'. The event garnered substantial interest from local beauty influencers and media representatives, showcasing AI-based personal color and skin analysis, as well as one-on-one customized makeup sessions with Jangsemul's dedicated artist team, thereby reinforcing its superior artistry capabilities in K-beauty.
A representative from Jangsemul Beauty noted, "By building a robust distribution network that includes our official U.S. website, Amazon, Costco, and now Sephora, we have significantly increased our touchpoints with local consumers. We will continue to lead the global market in K-beauty base makeup paradigms, driven by our sophisticated artist know-how and powerful product efficacy."
