PharmaResearch, led by CEO Son Ji-hoon, reported a record consolidated revenue of 324.8 billion won and an operating profit of 123.8 billion won for the first half of 2026. Both figures represent an increase of 26% and 23%, respectively, compared to the same period last year, marking the highest performance for a first half. The operating profit margin was recorded at 38.1%.

Export figures for the first half reached 142.8 billion won, a notable 47% increase year-over-year. The proportion of exports in total revenue grew from 38% last year to 44% this year, propelled by strong growth in medical device exports in Europe and a 92% rise in cosmetic exports, which played a crucial role in the company's global expansion.

In the second quarter alone, PharmaResearch achieved its highest quarterly revenue of 178.7 billion won and an operating profit of 66.5 billion won, reflecting increases of 27% and 19%, respectively. The company also recorded an operating profit margin of 37.2%. Solid domestic demand for Reguran, coupled with rising exports of medical devices in Europe and rapid growth in the global cosmetic business, contributed to these results.

Second-quarter exports totaled 84 billion won, a 62% increase from the previous year, now making up 47% of total revenue. Domestic sales also increased, recording 94.7 billion won, indicating a steady growth trend. This consistent domestic performance bolstered the rapid expansion of overseas sales, reflecting dual growth in both domestic and international markets.

Medical device revenue in the second quarter was 96.7 billion won, comprising 64.5 billion won in domestic sales and 32.2 billion won in exports. Domestic growth was supported by robust demand for Reguran and an increase in consumption from foreign visitors in dermatological treatments.

Medical device exports reached record quarterly figures, achieving a 33% increase compared to the previous year. The rapid expansion of the Reguran business in Europe, supported by a partnership with French aesthetic company VIVACY, highlighted the success, with stable growth also observed in existing markets like Japan, Turkey, Australia, and Hong Kong. Collaboration with local partners and enhanced distribution channel management significantly contributed to export growth.

The cosmetics segment saw substantial growth, with second-quarter sales reaching 60.2 billion won, up 47% in the domestic market and 124% in exports. Increased demand from foreign tourists and expanded sales through channels like Olive Young, as well as growth of the Rejuvi brand through pharmacies, supported this performance. Internationally, growth continued through online sales channels such as Shopee and TikTok Shop in Southeast Asia, as well as revitalized sales through major U.S. channels like Amazon and Sephora.

For the second half of the year, PharmaResearch plans to accelerate the strengthening of its global business foundation, focusing on Europe and North America. In Europe, the company aims to enhance partner support and distribution management by establishing a local operational base in France. In the United States, the integration of CG USA's production capabilities is expected to improve efficiency and response to market demands in its cosmetics business.

A spokesperson from PharmaResearch commented on their second-quarter achievements, noting that strong domestic demand for Reguran, combined with growth in European medical device exports and global cosmetic business, resulted in record quarterly revenue and profit. They emphasized their commitment to strengthening operations in major markets like Europe and North America while continuing to grow as a global aesthetic brand.
