2026 Osong Cosmetics & Beauty Expo Exceeds Participation Goals Ahead of Schedule
Chungcheongbuk-do has announced that as of August 10, 241 companies have signed up to participate in the 2026 Osong Cosmetics & Beauty Expo, surpassing the target of 240 companies ahead of schedule. The expo is set to take place from October 22 to 24 at Cheongju OSCO.
This achievement has been attributed to enhanced tailored recruitment strategies, a specialized exhibition layout by industry sectors, and an expanded B2B export consultation program aimed at facilitating international market entry.
This year’s expo will feature specialized exhibition halls across various sectors, including raw materials, packaging, cosmetics, hair, aesthetics, and smart beauty devices. The focus will be on generating tangible business outcomes for participating companies through B2B export consultations and professional seminars, inviting both domestic and foreign buyers.
In collaboration with relevant organizations such as the Chungbuk Bio Industry-University Cooperation Center and the Small Enterprise and Market Service, a variety of joint exhibition zones will be established, including a Clean Cosmetics Zone, a Startup Zone, a K-Beauty Zone, a Scent Zone, a Chungbuk-type K-Beauty Tech Zone, and a Marine Bio & Mud Zone, enhancing the exhibition content.
Additionally, a new early-stage company growth program will support promising startups through investor networking, IR pitching, one-on-one consultations, and expert mentoring, further advancing the expo as a platform for K-beauty entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem development.
With the participation goal met, Chungcheongbuk-do plans to concentrate its administrative efforts on attracting domestic and international buyers and expanding visitor numbers. Strategies will include enhancing invitations for foreign buyers and implementing promotional programs linked to 'C-Square', a K-beauty hub in Cheongju, alongside outdoor advertising and public transportation promotions in the Daejeon-Sejong area to boost both business outcomes and visitor satisfaction.
Chungbuk Province’s Advanced Bio Division Head, Kim Wang-il, stated, “The recruitment of 240 participating companies is a significant indicator of industry interest and expectations for the Osong Cosmetics & Beauty Expo.” He added, “In the remaining preparation period, we will ensure that this expo offers participating companies substantial opportunities for exports and market expansion while providing visitors with the latest trends in K-beauty.”
