Korean beauty brand KAHI, operated by Korea Tech, is set to enter the pharmacy distribution market through a partnership with pharmacy chain platform ChamYaksasa. The companies held a signing ceremony for their 'joint R&D and distribution/marketing strategic business partnership' on the 13th of this month at Korea Tech's headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul.

As part of this collaboration, the two companies plan to lead the next-generation derma beauty market by combining KAHI's specialized research and development capabilities with ChamYaksasa's distribution infrastructure.

The initial outcome of this partnership is the availability of KAHI's 'Caviar PDRN EGF Ampoule,' developed over six years in collaboration with Cosmax, in approximately 700 ChamYaksasa pharmacy chain locations nationwide. This high-performance skincare product, which centers around PDRN extracted from caviar, will reach consumers through ChamYaksasa's pharmacy distribution network.

Additionally, the companies will co-develop a 'pharmacy-exclusive beauty lineup' tailored for pharmacy environments and consumers favoring derma cosmetics. This integration of KAHI's product planning and marketing expertise with ChamYaksasa's pharmaceutical network seeks to continuously introduce premium derma cosmetics.

KAHI's entry into pharmacy channels marks the first of its kind since the brand's launch. With the establishment of its omnichannel strategy, it has successfully secured distribution through its own online platform, home shopping, offline stores in Bukchon and Gwangjang-dong, and global live commerce.

ChamYaksasa aims to develop the beauty category as a key growth driver in pharmacies, responding to the increasing demand for derma cosmetics and rising customer preference for beauty products. The collaboration aligns with this strategy.

Korea Tech's CEO Lee Dong-yeol stated, 'Collaborating with ChamYaksasa, which holds a reliable pharmacy network, will elevate KAHI's position in the derma skincare market. We will combine our R&D expertise with ChamYaksasa's distribution power to ensure that consumers easily access high-performance beauty products through pharmacies.'

ChamYaksasa's CEO Kim Byung-ju expressed that partnering with a leading K-beauty brand like KAHI is significant and emphasized their commitment to strengthening the competitiveness of the beauty category within their pharmacy chain through this collaboration and continuously offering differentiated pharmacy-exclusive products.
