Trueform Launches NAD⁺-Infused Volume and Density Cream
Skincare brand Trueform is set to launch its newest product, the Trueform NAD⁺ Volume and Density Cream, on August 28.
Trueform focuses on dermacosmetics aimed at skin management from a recovery perspective. The brand highlights the need for skincare solutions that address changes in facial appearance after weight loss, leveraging NAD⁺, a coenzyme that decreases with age, as a core ingredient throughout its skincare line. This new cream is part of a recovery dermaroutine specifically designed for skin conditions post-weight reduction.
The Trueform NAD⁺ Volume and Density Cream incorporates a high concentration of 1,000 ppm of NAD⁺, along with 1% NMN and 5% Volufiline in its volume complex. This product features dual functionality for wrinkle improvement and whitening, focusing on restoring lost facial volume and enhancing skin density.
According to pharmacist Baek Hong-soon from Nampo Onnuri Pharmacy, "There has been a noticeable increase in cases where consumers follow up weight management with skincare consultations. The Trueform NAD⁺ Volume and Density Cream uses an optimal concentration of NAD⁺ suited for its intended purpose, making it effective for consumers concerned about changes in facial volume and skin density post-dieting."

NAD⁺ plays a critical role in cellular energy metabolism and has become one of the most actively researched substances in the field of aging biology, as highlighted in recent global journals. A study published in the international journal Cell in 2013 proposed that the decrease of NAD⁺ due to aging disrupts signaling between the nucleus and mitochondria, making it a key reference in aging research. Additionally, research analyzing human skin tissue (PLoS ONE, 2012) observed a trend in reduced NAD⁺ concentrations correlated with advancing age, measured across 49 samples from newborns to 77-year-olds. Studies have also reported findings related to NMN, a precursor to NAD⁺, and its association with skin cells and collagen.
