Beauty brand KAHI has continued its role as a sponsor of the charity marathon '2026 815 Run,' supporting the improvement of housing conditions for descendants of independence activists in South Korea for the sixth consecutive year.

The '815 Run,' established as a prominent participatory fundraising campaign, is organized annually on Independence Day by the Korea Habitat for Humanity and singer Sean. This year marks the seventh iteration of the event, which aims to express gratitude towards independence activists and support their descendants.

Participants had the option to engage in either a virtual run from any location or join an offline gathering. This year, 19,450 participants came together for the event, with 7,000 individuals participating in the offline run held at the World Cup Park in Sangam, Seoul, on August 15.

KAHI has joined the '815 Run' fundraising efforts since 2021, promoting sustainable social contribution activities. This year, the brand provided 7,000 units of its 'KAHI Water Holding Tone Up Serum,' valued at approximately 250 million KRW, to protect the skin of runners under the sun. Additionally, a donation of 8.15 million KRW was made to assist in the construction and refurbishment of residences for descendants experiencing difficulties in inadequate housing conditions.

Lee Dong-yeol, CEO of Korea Tech, expressed, “For the past six years, we have shared the vision of the '815 Run,' honoring the dedication of independence heroes who made today’s South Korea possible and providing tangible support to their descendants. KAHI will continue to engage in social contribution activities, bringing warmth to areas in need of societal attention as a brand that enhances the beauty and value of everyday life.”
