Image Color House Successfully Hosts Seminar for K-Beauty Professionals

The Image Color House (ICH), a subsidiary of the Korean Beauty Stylist Occupational Association (KABSOA), successfully concluded its seminar on August 22 in Gangnam, Seoul. Titled 'Beyond Makeup: The New Expansion of Integrated Image Consulting,' the event aimed to present a fresh vision amidst the rapidly changing beauty market and strengthen networking among professionals.

Led by Executive Director Lee Sun-il, the seminar opened with an introduction to the event's background and distinguished guests, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the proceedings. Attending were over 50 key figures from the beauty, fashion, and education sectors, including association members, beauty academy representatives, model association members, models participating in the Asia Model Festival, university professors, personal color consultants, and makeup artists, indicating significant interest in brand launching and consulting programs.

The seminar featured a series of enriching lectures covering the latest trends and practical know-how in the K-beauty industry. KABSOA President An Mi-ryeo shared insights into the motivations for launching the Image Color House and its future vision, including details about participation in the 2026 Korea Beauty Festival organized by the Korea Tourism Organization.

Vice President Choi Min-ryeong introduced the training program for personal color image consultants and the certification system, laying the foundation for generating professional talent. Together with Director Shin Mi-sun, she presented independently developed diagnostic tools, consulting processes, and successful business operation case studies, receiving a warm response from attendees.

In a notable guest lecture, Hwang Young-a, President of the Korea Beauty Culture Tourism Association, discussed the state of the K-beauty tourism market, highlighting the latest trends and industrial growth potential at the intersection of beauty and tourism.

The final session featured a close Q&A with key executives, including An Mi-ryeo, Choi Min-ryeong, Shin Mi-sun, and Lee Seung-ah. Participants raised detailed questions regarding ICH's consulting product offerings, educational classes, franchise operations, and entrepreneurial consulting, fostering effective communication.

President An Mi-ryeo remarked, "This seminar was a meaningful occasion to confirm that the K-beauty and personal color industries are expanding significantly beyond mere appearance enhancement into the realms of tourism and integrated image consulting." She expressed her commitment to continuing to support the development of professional consultants and franchise/entrepreneurial support centered around the Image Color House to enhance the competitiveness of the K-beauty industry.
