ISOI, a plant-based functional cosmetics brand free from harmful ingredients, announced the donation of relief supplies worth 150 million KRW on the 25th of last month, aimed at supporting the recovery of residents in Geoje and Tongyeong affected by severe flooding.

The relief supplies were delivered through the Hope Friends Kia Hope Agency’s Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam headquarters. The essentials included household items, cosmetics, sanitary products, and other necessities for daily living post-flood.

Following the heavy rains, ISOI assessed the situation in the affected areas to determine essential resources needed by the residents. The donation focuses on those living in Geoje and Tongyeong, where the damage was particularly severe.

The delivered supplies will be sequentially distributed to households in need, including those affected by the flooding within the community.

An ISOI representative expressed hope that the urgent support would provide relief to those who have lost their daily lives due to the sudden floods, emphasizing the brand's commitment to continuously offer practical assistance to those in need.

Kim Cheol-gi, the head of the Hope Friends Kia Hope Agency’s Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam headquarters, thanked ISOI for their generous support, reiterating the agency’s commitment to working closely with the community to assist individuals affected by disasters in restoring their daily lives.

ISOI has consistently provided emergency support during national disasters such as the COVID-19 pandemic and wildfires. Previously, the brand contributed a total of 170 million KRW in funds and supplies for recovery efforts following wildfires in Gangwon in 2022. Additionally, during the COVID-19 outbreak, ISOI temporarily halted cosmetic production to produce hand sanitizers, donating relief supplies worth 200 million KRW to Daegu.
