Korean Beauty Industry Association Hosts Second Annual Leadership Training
The Korean Beauty Industry Association (KBIA), led by President Yoon Cheon-seong, successfully held its second annual leadership training and executive board meeting from August 17 to 18 in Yeongwol and Jeongseon.
Founded in 2006, the KBIA has published a biannual scholarly journal, 'Beauty Industry Research,' producing a total of 39 volumes to date. The association also holds an annual academic conference on the first Friday of November each year, which features presentations, discussions, special lectures, and awards for excellence in the beauty industry.
This training session is part of the regularly scheduled events that take place in January and August, aimed at facilitating deep discussions regarding the development of the beauty industry and the association's future direction. President Yoon expressed his joy at hosting the training in the beautiful natural settings of Yeongwol and Jeongseon to mark the association's 21st anniversary, extending gratitude to the executives and board members for their active participation.
The vision emphasized during this session includes establishing a foundation for nurturing talent aligned with the future direction of the beauty industry in the AI era. Additionally, the meeting served a significant purpose in confirming specific schedules and progress updates in preparation for the annual academic conference scheduled for November 6, 2026.
Through this training, meticulous preparations for the latter half of the year's events were carried out, while also providing an opportunity for warm exchanges among executives that strengthened the association's cohesion.
