Gungjungbijeok Participates in Beautyworld Dubai 2026 to Accelerate Middle East Market Penetration
Gungjungbijeok, a skincare brand catering to sensitive skin in infants and children, participated in Beautyworld Dubai 2026, held from the 6th to the 8th of this month at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) in the United Arab Emirates. The event allowed the brand to enhance its competitiveness in the Middle Eastern market and expand its connections with global buyers.
Now in its 30th year, Beautyworld Dubai is a premier exhibition where global beauty brands, buyers, and industry professionals gather. Gungjungbijeok showcased its key product lines, including baby, kids, and sun care items, to raise brand awareness and seek business opportunities for new distribution channels.
The company highlighted its unique brand identity by operating an exhibition booth that emphasizes royal heritage and Korean aesthetics. Modern interpretations of traditional Korean elements, such as wood tones and Baekja jars, were incorporated, enhanced by lotus motifs to create a distinctive brand atmosphere. Notably, the brand concept zone introduced visitors to the origins and philosophy behind Gungjungbijeok, rooted in the bathing practices of royal infants.
Additionally, a global achievements zone showcased the brand's international presence, notable awards, and sales performance of flagship products, demonstrating its competitiveness in overseas markets. An experiential zone allowed buyers and visitors to directly use the main products from the baby, kids, and sun care lines, enabling them to experience the unique features of these items.
The booth also hosted several interactive programs, including the provision of product samples to visitors and events encouraging Instagram follows and on-site photo uploads, further expanding brand engagement.
Prior to the exhibition, Gungjungbijeok accelerated its strategy for entering the Middle Eastern market by expanding its local distribution channels. In February, it began selling products in 62 locations of Aster Pharmacy, a leading pharmacy chain in the UAE, which has now grown to 105 stores. The brand has also made its online presence known through partnerships with major parenting platforms in India and the Middle East, like FirstCry, Mumzworld, and Amazon UAE, broadening its connection with local consumers.
A company representative mentioned that "while expanding the business base in the Middle Eastern market through key online and offline distribution channels in the UAE, this exhibition provided an opportunity to present Gungjungbijeok's brand heritage and product competitiveness to global buyers directly. We will continue strengthening our presence as a premium skincare brand for infants and children in the global market, including the Middle East, by expanding local distribution networks and discovering new business opportunities."
