Able C&C, led by CEO Shin Yoo-jung, is accelerating its global expansion by moving beyond its domestic offline-centric growth model. The company announced that it has now entered 61 countries with a total of 50,000 stores worldwide.

Able C&C's global expansion is being enhanced through a focus on key local distribution channels and digital platforms. The company has secured major retail agreements with outlets such as Amazon and Costco in the U.S., Boots and Superdrug in Europe, and Welcia in Japan, while also broadening partnerships in growth markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. This diversified approach aims to mitigate dependency on specific regions while building a robust global business portfolio.

This shift to a globally centered business model is a result of a restructuring initiative launched in 2025. The company has streamlined operations by closing underperforming domestic offline stores and duty-free channels, refocusing efforts on overseas markets and digital channels. As a result, overseas sales now account for a larger share of revenue, with the company achieving its initial target of 75% international sales by 2026 much earlier than projected.

In North America, Able C&C is quickly establishing its presence by expanding from major digital platforms like Amazon and TikTok Shop into significant offline retailers such as Costco. The strategy involves verifying consumer responses and product competitiveness in the online space before moving to large retail channels. The company currently operates in approximately 150 Costco stores in the U.S. and 60 in Canada, while also diversifying its offline presence in the U.S. through Olive Young locations.

In Europe, the company is intensifying its presence by leveraging successes in Poland, Turkey, and Russia to penetrate Western European markets. By entering key retail channels such as Douglas and OVS, Able C&C is expanding its market reach. Notably, the brand launched on TikTok Shop in March and has rapidly entered Boots and Superdrug in June and July, respectively, broadening both online and offline distribution across Eastern and Western Europe.

In Japan, Able C&C has established a substantial offline distribution network, partnering with about 20,000 stores, including major drugstores and variety shops like Welcia and Matsumoto Kiyoshi. This extensive footprint has made it one of the prominent players among K-beauty brands in Japan, further supported by its presence in over 30 Costco stores.

The company is also diversifying its global portfolio by expanding its network in Asia, including nearly 920 stores across Taiwan, and establishing around 500 and 130 stores in the Middle East and Latin America, respectively. Growth in these regions has seen significant year-on-year sales increases, with 50% in the Middle East and 39% in other Asian markets for the second quarter.

Amid this global-centered transition, Able C&C is also optimizing its domestic offline operations for enhanced efficiency and growth potential. Following its announcement to exit the Myeongdong megastore in December, the company is concentrating on high-potential channels such as its online shopping platform and collaborations with Coupang, Naver, Daiso, and Olive Young. This strategy aims to reinforce its capabilities for global distribution and digital channel expansion while solidifying its growth foundations in domestic and international markets.

Able C&C’s global expansion efforts have resulted in measurable performance improvements. The company reported a consolidated revenue of 65.2 billion won and an operating profit of 10.4 billion won for the second quarter of 2026, marking respective year-on-year growth of 5% and 52.5%. Notably, excluding revenues from the terminated domestic stores, the actual growth rate stands at 24.5%. The accumulated operating profit for the first half of the year exceeded annual figures from the previous year by over 10%, demonstrating that the restructuring and focus on expanding its global distribution network are yielding not only revenue growth but also profitability enhancements.

CEO Shin Yoo-jung emphasized that Able C&C, as a representative brand of the first generation of K-beauty, is creating new growth opportunities in the global market by evolving from a domestic offline-centric growth model to a more expansive global network and digital channels. He stated that the company aims to further refine its competitiveness across marketing, product development, and R&D to accelerate its transformation into a global brand, while carefully analyzing market-specific consumer needs and distribution environments to concentrate efforts on high-growth markets and channels.
