Paula's Choice Wins 2026 Brand Awards for Pore Care
Paula's Choice, a brand known for its scientifically proven skincare solutions without misinformation or exaggeration, announced on September 2 that it has won the Pore Care category at the '2026 Brand Awards.'
The Brand Awards, hosted by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and organized by Korea Economic Daily and the Korea Consumer Forum, is a prominent national brand award in South Korea. Brands are selected based on preliminary research on consumer trends, followed by large-scale consumer voting and expert evaluations to determine the year's leading brands.
This year, consumer voting took place from June 29 to July 12 across four Asian countries, including Korea, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia. A total of 3,275,167 participants cast votes amounting to 29,473,991 tallies, with domestic participation accounting for 772,399 and 7,954,023 votes cast. Domestic consumer votes were a 50%-50% mix of online voting and one-on-one phone surveys to establish the leading brand in each category. Paula's Choice was selected as the top brand in the Pore Care category, reaffirming its high level of consumer trust and support.
Established in 1995 by journalist and pioneering beauty influencer Paula Begoun in Seattle, Paula's Choice is committed to providing effective solutions for various skin concerns based on scientific evidence and transparent ingredient information. Its core philosophy has focused on helping people make better choices through its values of 'truth' and 'science' for over 30 years.
Particularly, Paula's Choice offers high-performance skincare solutions that address specific skin needs backed by clinical trials. The recognition in the Pore Care category underscores the brand's expertise that has steadily built trust over time.
Among its best-selling products in the pore care segment are 'BHA Liquid,' 'Clinical Niacinamide 20% Treatment,' and '10% Niacinamide Booster Ampoule.' The 'BHA Liquid,' which is Paula's Choice's signature product, helps manage skin texture, pores, and sebum during the essential step of exfoliation, lending a smoother skin surface while also enhancing the absorption of subsequent skincare products.
Additionally, the best-selling Niacinamide serum is available in two concentrations, 10% and 20%, allowing users to select according to their skin concerns and needs. The '10% Niacinamide Booster Ampoule,' for example, helps manage skin texture and tone while minimizing the appearance of enlarged pores. This lightweight, watery formula is loved for its versatility, as it can be used alone or mixed with other products.
A representative from Paula's Choice stated, “This award holds special significance as it indicates that consumers have chosen the pore care solutions we've long proposed based on scientific evidence and effective ingredients. We will continue to offer reliable information and effective skincare solutions to help consumers accurately select products that meet their skin needs.”
