Skin care brand Celebon has marked its entry into the Hong Kong market by selling out its entire inventory during its first live commerce event. This marks the brand's initial performance achievement in overseas sales.

Recently, Celebon conducted a live commerce broadcast targeting local consumers in Hong Kong, showcasing its signature anti-aging line, Tuning X. As the brand's first foray into live commerce in Hong Kong, the broadcast involved real-time communication with consumers while introducing the product features and usage methods. The complete sell-out of the prepared inventory has prompted Celebon to secure additional stock for follow-up sales.

This broadcast is particularly significant as it allowed Celebon to assess consumer reactions in Hong Kong, following its expansion of sales channels primarily within South Korea. The company plans to progressively expand its local sales and distribution channels in overseas markets, starting with Hong Kong.

The Tuning X line includes ampoule cream, boosting essence, and cream mist, distinguished by its use of bio-based functional ingredients and a delivery technology based on cell-penetrating peptides developed by NeoRigen, a bio company comprised of research personnel from Seoul National University.

Park Jae-hyun, Managing Director of Celebon's Product Strategy, stated, "As various high-functionality ingredients like PDRN and peptides gain attention in the global beauty market, the effective delivery of beneficial ingredients to the skin is emerging as an important competitive element. Celebon focuses on the delivery process of active ingredients as its product competitiveness, and having confirmed positive sales responses overseas, we intend to establish differentiated space in the global premium skincare market centered around quick efficacy and scientific penetration."
